Our Technique

We use an adjusting approach pioneered by a masterful healer by the name of Dr. Clarence Gonstead. There are three reasons this is our technique of choice:

This detects small skin temperture changes

1) Level of specificity. This approach requires an in depth understanding of spinal biomechanics. Knowing exactly when and where to adjust to produce maximum benefit is the result of years of experience and hundreds of hours of post-graduate workshops.

Full spine X-rays show us exactly where your problem is.

2) Full spine analysis. We’ll conduct a thorough examination. This generally includes full spine X-rays and precise analysis. Using a small heat-sensing instrument, subluxation patterns are revealed by subtle differences in skin temperature

Children look forward to being adjusted by Dr. Swift.

3) For all ages. The Gonstead adjusting technique is acknowledged as one of the safest and most effective systems of evaluating and caring for the spine. It is flexable enough to be applied to all ages, from newborn to the golden years.

Cervical adjustments are accurate and specific

4) Success with difficult cases. The patient files of many Gonstead practitioners are filled with countless examples of those who got astonishing results after trying other approaches. Expect to be delighted!

Dr. Tim Asks some important questions of interest to San Clemente residents - Chiropractor San Clemente Dr. Tim Asks...

Could a chiropractor put an end to bedwetting?
If bladder control seems elusive, consider chiropractic. If spinal bones are interfering with nerves that control your child's bladder, plastic sheets, alarms and other methods simply add to the embarrassment. San Clemente parents are often amazed (and relieved) that chiropractic can be so helpful. Learn more.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a San Clemente parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
